The Oxygen Scam 2021: Sachin Agarwal...!
As the numbers of Covid-19 patients increasing day by day uncontrollably in India, the number of "Scammers" are also increasing in India! And this is not good news for the people of India.
We know that India is going through very critical conditions nowadays, and has an insane shortage of Oxygen. And most of the Covid-19 patients are needed oxygen for their survival. In this critical condition, we should help more and more people instead of doing stupid Scam. But some rude peoples in India are taking the advantage of needy people.
Such a big Scam is revealed which was happening in Delhi. The name of oxygen scammer is revealed out be "Sachin Agarwal".
We don't know that this name is real or not but this guy has scammed over 24+ peoples which was in urgent need of oxygen cylinder. Sachin Agarwal is defrauding people looking for oxygen! And he looted more than 4.5 lakh rupees from these people. And that's not all a woman lost her grandfather because the scammer kept saying that the cylinder is on its way and the payment for oxygen cylinder was already done. The scammer even sent the photos of oxygen cylinder to win the trust but who knows he was the scammer! The oxygen cylinder never reached the patient.
Along with this deadly Covid-19 virus the people of India have to fight against something else that is a large number of Covid-19 scams. Taking advantages of fears and critical condition of people these types of scammers are stealing data and money. Then how we can stay safe from these scammers, what is the solution for this?
Due to the shortage of vaccine, booking of vaccine slot becomes very difficult, people who already registered for vaccination don't even get their OTP. And the scammers are taking advantages of this condition.
In the next scam, you will receive a call on which it says that you will get vaccinated at your home. The scammers already have your number and name and these days our phone numbers are linked with our bank accounts. The scamsters then asks for your Aadhar number and then you receive an OTP. When you give your OTP to scammers, he uses it to steal money from your bank accounts.
In the last whole year, 12 crore people all over India were scammed in a similar way. Cybercriminals are literally working overtime these days, because when people are scared, they see the best opportunities to do the SCAM!
The people are very tensed due to Covid-19 condition, people are hearing negative news whole day instead of positive news. In this condition, smart people also get scammed from the scammers. What is the Solution for this?

If you want to book slot for vaccination please register only on Governments app/website such as Aarogya Setu app and Co-Win website. Don't join any random Telegram group. Such Telegram group are genuine too but you must go with government apps/websites.
Medicines like Remdesivir is now mostly available through governments hospitals/CMO, but due to the shortage of this medicine some are doing black marketing of medicine and sell them with higher prices. Many people are demanding beds/oxygen/plasma on social media platform and people are getting helped through this as well. But some scammers stole the numbers of some people and told them they would get the medicines only on paying the advance. And after paying the advance money they never delivered the medicines, suddenly all medicines were out of stock. But the solution is here!
Visit the cov.social website, type the contact of the person supplying you medicines/beds/oxygen/plasma, etc. These guys have already identified 450+ scammers. Unfortunately, if such scam happened with you already, you can provide this data to them as well.

Over all, avoid to doing advance payment and if you can't avoid paying in advance, go to the stranger's location take the copy of his PAN card and Aadhar Card, also take the proper GST invoice from the suppliers/strangers.
The next issue is not a scam but raises a serious issue. Many more children all over India has lost their both parents due to Covid-19. A post like this went viral on social India. It seems like a good intention but child traffickers can make use of this data. They can adopt these children illegally and sell them or put them into a dangerous profession and can ruin their whole life.
In India we have a proper procedure for adoption which has need to be followed to adopt a child. Please call on the hotline number 1098 to get correct guidance about what to do in this situation.
The scammers are doing scam not only in India but also internationally and are on the way to ruin the good image of India. On various social media platform some scammers are asking for donations, some donations are genuine but most of the donations are FRAUD!
Some days ago, such a case was reported by Singapore Police Force. A scammer contacts NRIs with a display picture of an Indian man, claims to collect Oxygen concentrators for India and he wants donations. These scammers are quite smart and they strike up a casual conversation with the NRI and after taking donations they block the number.
Such types of scam are increasing day by day in India. Be aware of it and stay safe from this Scam!
